Starting digiscrapping!

Step 1: Open up the program you want to use, I'm using Photoshop elements
Step 2: Get the picture (s) and the kit that you want to use

Step 3: Select the paper you want to use

and drag to your program

Step 4 select photo and drag into program
Crop photo if needed.
Step 5. Then drag the photo on top of the paper.
Make sure that the photo layer is selected.
Click on layer styles and then drop shadow.
Now we are going to add a shadow to the photo to make it more realistic.
After adding the drop shadow, we are going to move, rotate (if you want) and resize the photo.
Make sure that the arrow tool is selected and click on photo, you should see the marching ants and little boxes one the corners and middles.
SElect the photo and click on one of the corners and hold while draggigng the photo in or out to make smaller or larger.
If you move the mouse closer to the box , an arrow with two arrow heads should pop up, when it does, you now can rotate your photo.now the fun part, adding embellishments!!
You do the same thing, drag the embellishment that you want unto the program,
then drag to paper, add drop shadow, rotate, move or resize.
Keep adding until you want to stop!

Taking a month off

Well after having a horrible year and my computer messing up I decided that I needed a little break from designing. (Well I still will be designing but I won't be on here much)
I'm taking a month off. I hope to be back Nov 15 (HOPEFULLY) with new kits, updated old kits and lots of freebies! I'm going to adding to/removing items/changing papers/elements to a bunch of my kits to update them. Some kits will be removed and given to you. Lots of work soo I really won't be taking a break lol. Just going to disappear for awhile. My store will be closed during this time, so I can get all my links working, and updated without messing anyone up with downloads. New Product in store and hybrid project freebie

Father's day is just around the corner! I wanted the kids to make something special for their grandfather this year, so I we got a few things at walmart that they could stain and paint.

Stormy made dad a cute key holder. (don't mind the unfinshed stain photos we went back later to finish it lol) We first stained the wood, then added gold paint but we wiped off after painting it on there, so that it will just give that gold tone/glitter look to it without being too much. Then I made a sign to hang on the key holder. "World's Greatest Grandpa" First we printed it out, glue it to a small thin piece of cardboard, then we punched a hole in it, slipped it on a keyring and tied a bow to it. Simple but soo cute! I also made these to print out and give to dad. They turned out soo cute, I just love them, and I know my dad will too! He loves to show off what I do, so this is perfect for him to do that, because they are wallet size layouts! Just plop in your photo, save, print on heavy paper, and there you have it! The other day I made bookmarks for my grandmother, mom, sister and myself. I loved how they turned out, except the fact that I used gray paper to print them out on (first heavy paper I found) I don't have a great storage for my paper scrapbooking stuff at the moment, everything is piled in together, so I just grabbed what I saw first and well it made it look kinda dark, but oo well I loved them and soo did everyone else! I used my kit sonny to make them!

I also made a few things for my little cousins to "play" with. I will save those for later, cause im still working on them and who knows they might go in the store!

I'm working on a new kit in memory of my grandfather, and I'm looking for creative people to work with this special kit! This kit is my favorite soo far and I'm not even finished yet! (It will take a few more days before I have it finished, but figured I would go ahead and start the process of the call)

I'm looking for 1 or 2 layouts with this kit! When its released I would want you to post at prettyscrappy, dst, and at least one more of your favorite galleries! Plus I would want permission to post on my blog and the ct blog.

Well I'm back home now. I should have went home that night, I knew I should have. The doctors were soo sure that he would live at least till they did the major heart surgery, then he had a 50% chance. But he didn't make it, he is now one of my angels. I miss him soo much, and I feel soo sorry for my grandmother. I pray that she will be ok. His service was amazing tho. I think there was more than 5o0 ppl there, he would have loved it. He was center of attention (something he loved) and he looked really good. (Which he always thought he did anyways) hehe I have some pictures at the graveyard where they walking my grandmother, folding the flag, and giving my grandmother the flag. Right now im working on a kit called "SONNY" in memory of him. Then I will take that kit and make scrapbook pages of my grandfather. I have lots of work to do in the next few weeks. I have to make a movie of him. I'm gonna frame each picture and decorate the frame (no scrapbook pages but I still want my "touch" to the photo) and of course its going to be playing music, but at the end the music will die off and my mom took a video clip of my grandfather the day before he died saying "I love you" soo I will have that playing at the end. I think it will be great, my grandmother can watch it anytime and hear him say that whenever she wants to. I have to make alot of copies tho, (my family is pretty big and im sure alot of ppl will want one) but anyways if im gone for awhile you know why. Im just trying to get things back to normal and get this "project" ready! Speaking of projects, I think im going to have to quit project 365 I hadn't took pictures in weeks :( I don't want to quit but im soo behind..do you think I could "cheat" and just take random photos?? hehe Im evil!

rak and bad news

Last night was horrible. I was having a good day..spent all day making layouts (something I hadnt got to do in FOREVER) so I really enjoyed my day (didn't really get out of bed till 5pm..WOW) then I got a phone call nobody ever wants to hear (THE DOCTORS SAID HE ISNT GOING TO MAKE IT) wtfudge? My Grandfather is soo special to me, and I hadn't got to see him in awhile. HE CAN NOT DIE!! I have to see him first!
dWHAT DO I DO?? My Dad was about to get a plane ticket to Louisiana..but he lost his driver license the other day. I wanted to go in, but what about work?? I was soo upset..me and my dad ended up fighting (not something you want to do at a time like this) But Jeremy was there to help me calm down. He is soo cute when he is trying to boss me around HA don't tell me what to do! Anyways me and my dad jump in the car..we leave Jeremy to take care of the house and animals. (You know its something bad when I leave tori (my pug) behind) We get like 20 minutes away and my mom calls back and she sounds alot better! The other doctor said something about how his heart "squeezes at 40 and a normal heart does at 50?? but people live with 35 all the time?? Maybe I miss understood that..but when something like this happens your gonna misunderstand alot! Anyways he went from dying last night to having a better chance. I still hadnt heard from anyone today..I'm hoping they are all just sleeping since its still a little early. They told us to turn around and go home (he might be sent to Houston so we would be going to Louisiana and nobody would be there) So here I am waiting on the phone call (praying to God its a good call and not one like last night!!) My Grandfather
and Grandmother are the backbone of our whole family! I seriously don't think our family can make it without them. I know everyone dies, but you never think your family is going die, esp when they are soo important. I always just pictured them dying after me, or maybe we would all die together when the Lord comes back. Idk but last night was soo scary. I lost my great grandmother and some great aunts and uncles. But this is totally different. With my great grandmother I knew it was her time to go, she would be in a better place. Now I know my pappaw will go to Heaven, i'm not saying that I just don't think its his time to go. Well only God knows that ..but you know what I mean. Please pray for my family..we really need it!! HUGS Anyways sorry about this..i just needed to umm "talk" Now on to the rak. If you follow my blog I will have a special "treat" for you. Feels like forever since I been here! My sister and the kids came to visit us for the weekend, although I had to work every stinking night I still enjoyed having them here! Just wished I could have spent more time with them. I'm thinking about switching jobs at where I'm working. The other job will involve paper work and things to remember ha ha which I'm terrible at, so I really need to think about it. I'm so happy today is my weekend..with only 3 hours of sleep Sunday night, having to go to a meeting at 8 Monday morning and then working from 4 till midnight..ah I'm so tired! I went to bed kinda early last night between 1 and 2 I think, but man I'm still so tired. Got alot to do today and I'm so hoping today is better than yesterday! Anyways how do you like my new header? But its a new year and I'm full of ideas I just got to make them come alive! lol I'm working on my FIRST EVER GRAB BAG! I'm soo excited about it, its going to be perfect for Valentines day and girls, romance and girlie girl haha.. But most of my ct team members have little boys:( soo I deff need some ct with girls!

Today was such a busy day! Went house hunting again, ahh it kinda gets old after awhile..my parents are looking for more land for horses. It was cold wet and it actually started hailing.. liike a few hours away it was SNOWING soo I was told. So today has been a tiredsome day and not to mention I been kinda stressed cause I have my very first REAL job interview haha. I have had jobs in the past, but my hometown had like 2000 people and I knew them, so yea it wasnt a real interview..actually I think they even filled out my application haha. So this is a very big deal to me. I know grow up Brittney! haha I am I am just taking baby steps hehe!

But anyways I hadnt had a chance to find the elements to this kit, so right now you will just get the papers, (and hopefully later the elements) This was one of the first kits in my first store! Since then I have learned alot I think anyways. But maybe someone can use them!

Not so spooked part 2

How was everyone's halloween? Let me tell you how mind went.. well last night I got an awesome new phone (the rant) I fell in LOVE with it. Well today it starts freezing up on me..im like great my computer does it and now my phone..thats just awesome right?? Why just have a computer that freeezes up..I also need a phone too. I start reading about them..and found out alot of ppl had theirs to crash..they wont turn back on..yea soo I not only have to worry about loosing my pictures off my computer..but also my phone..im debating on changing phones..but I LOVE this one..ahhh (if anyone has a rant please let me know how yours is acting!) Anyways Happy Halloween people haha. So besides trying to figure out my phone today I also went to the dr with my dad..so I didnt get to design today..and I figured I will stop the kit where it is..and guess what you get it all for FREE..

updated the picture to the one that will be in the store..still not everything shown..a few pieces arent on the preview.. and of course the papers from the other day is in this preview! And I exchanged my phone for another rant..I'm praying it wont mess up on me..

Happy Halloween..well a day early. I'm back and I had a blast..we actually left a day early cause we was all tired haha. 3 days in the casino would have been too much for me. 2 days was perfect..I didn't get to take alot of pictures..but I do have a few I have to finish scrapping soo I can show you.. Well I almost have Sept Scrap a ganza finished..I'm slowly catching up lol Im thinking I might give half of it out now..and the other half later..I dont know tho...But for now Im just going to leave you with this ..doesnt show much..but I didnt want to show all of what I have lol.
